Miller noted how Newman/Haas Racing tested alone at Homestead in part to keep from revealing just how good 17 year old Graham Rahal really was. After matching times set by reigning Champ Car champion Sebastian Bourdais, Rahal set a new track record at Houston’s MSR last week.
While Forsythe and Mi-Jack continue evaluating potential drivers, Miller talked about the “new look” PKV team. Miller stated that Scuderia Toro Rosso’s test driver Neal Jani will definitely be one of the teams drivers next season. Jani will bring lots of Red Bull (money) with him. Miller said “I’m not making this up!” Jani’s teammate will be a 22 year old driver from Monaco named Clivio Piccione… Piccione has won a few British F3 races and also raced in GP2 this season…
