Vegas gets Title Sponsor

The Las Vegas Grand Prix has announced the events new title sponsor. VISA has signed a multi-year deal to sponsor the new Champ Car event around the streets of “Old Vegas.” The event will now be known as: Vegas Grand Prix Fueled by Visa. Interestingly the deal is for multiple venues with Los Vegas being a benefactor of Arizona businessmen who are intent on invigorating Phoenix’s entertainment value with the addition of a Street race around Phoenix’s downtown as the Champ Cars season finale in 2007. It will be interesting to return to the streets of Phoenix, once the home of the Iceberg Grand Prix. (F1 USGP: 1989-91)
