I sit here and think 'Man, I wish we could be a couple of spots higher' and then I look at the names of the guys who are a couple of spots higher and think 'No wait, I shouldn't be anywhere near this.' Those were the words spoken by Hinch after topping off Friday’s second practice with a ninth place finish, so I can only imagine his thoughts upon uncorking an eighth place in qualifying, eh? As who’da thunk-it? Dario “REO Speedwagon” Franchitti being the meat in a Newman Haas Racing sandwich; aye Karumba! As James elder teammate (Oriel) “Suitcase” Servia pipped the Scotsman for the Fast Sixes final slot, ultimately qualifying P6, with Dario seventh and Hinch P8. As I can only imagine the adrenaline, euphoria and butterflies flowing through Hinch as he lines up alongside the three-time and reigning IndyCar Champion on the outside of Row-4 for the green flag...
