Alright, I'll admit I've been slacking off
lately on my F1 coverage, but hey, how can you say that this year's Belgian
Grand Prix at thee mighty Spa-Francorchamps was overly exciting? I mean
'TWINKIEBOY (Seb Vettel) simply blew away the field after dusting off pole
sitter Lewis Hamilton on the opening lap's run down to Eau Rouge and was never
seen again...
Yet I found myself thinking that the Italian
GP was somewhat farcical itself, as once
again 'TWINKIEBOY (Vettel) simply ran away 'N hid again from the opposition en
route to his sixth win of the season - most likely leading to his fourth
consecutive world championship, since he could sit out the next two races being
won by second place Alonso and still remain three points ahead in the title
fight; CRIKEYS!
Thus while Felipe Massa dutifully gave way to
his more esteemed team leader (Alonso) after out qualifying him, Fernando was
one of the few bright spots in the contest with his 'Mega overtaking move upon Mark 'Handlebarz
Webber, which would be how the podium shaped out.
Lewis Hamilton had a storming drive,
albeit first starting from too far back
upon the grid, (P12) sharing Row-6 with thee Iceman, nee Kimi Raikkonen, (P11)
as the Finn had a relatively lackluster outing upon his future employer's home
track... With thy "Louise 'JAGUAR" (Hamilton) then needing to
overcome a punctured tyre all just to net himself two points for ninth place,
while Webber's replacement next year,
Daniel
Ricciardo finished a fine seventh in the Scuderia Toro Rosso and
hence I believe he's leapfrogged his peeved teammate "JEV" (Jean-Eric Vergne)
for overall points this season.
Yet the star of the Monza weekend undoubtedly
was thee Incredible Hulkster, nee Nico Hulkenberg, who began by out qualifying
the Works Scuderia Ferrari duo by placing his lamented Sauber P3 upon the grid
- before driving home to a fine fifth place, his highest finish of the season
to date.
And I was left YELLING two words at le
Telescreen upon Leigh Diffey's comments 'bout how the BOOING's starting to
annoy Sebastian Vettel; as all I could say was "MULTI-21" TWINKIEBOY!
I mean if you're gonna be a Piranha,
then you've gotta live with the consequences, right?
As there's NO denying his amazing talent -
having just tied Alonso for fourth upon the pantheon of F1 career victories,
presently tied at 32-apiece with such 'legendous names as Senna, Prost and
Schumacher ahead of them... But hey 'Seb, just don't gritch 'bout NOT being
'LUV-end by everybody when you've been nicknamed The Smiling Assassin NO less!
