Sean Edwards, the 26yr old son of former F1
driver Guy Edwards was killed at a Queensland racing circuit near Brisbane,
Australia when riding as an instructor in a Porsche 996 GT3 racecar with the
20yr old "student" being seriously injured and currently in hospital...

Howard's RUSH, as Guy was one of the four drivers who gallantly pulled Niki

German Grand Prix.
Guy began his F1 career by landing the second
seat at Embassy Hill Racing alongside double world champion Graham Hill before breaking
his wrist in an F5000 event. Then returned to F1 two years later, reportedly
bringing sponsorship to Hesketh, then running under the Penthouse Rizla Racing
banner in '76 which helped the team live on for another two lackluster seasons,
albeit a far cry from the heady days of the Hunt era.
Edwards went onto win two rounds of the World
Sportscar Championship in 1981 along with focusing upon a career as a
sponsorship hunter, having landed Silk Cut for Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) and
Castrol for its IMSA efforts before bringing Castrol to Lotus in '93 as the
team's Director of Marketing...
