By now, if Y'all have been following the
Michael Schumacher skiing accident saga then you know today is his 45th
Birthday, which obviously I doubt he'd planned upon spending in hospital in an
induced coma fighting for his life.
Having just returned from Tacoma, I've been
somewhat out of the loop, albeit Tacoma Bureau Chief Mary Ellen was kind enough
to "Surt-thy-Web" for Mwah to find out what was Michael's latest
condition...
thus it only seemed fitting, albeit a tad bit
karmic that today of all days I decided to take 'DER TERMINATOR home. Yuhs see,
as I haven't even looked at I-T properly yet, although I'm guessing its circa
2002? Once upon a time long, long, ago, when 'Awntie Harriet still knew who he
was, when Herr Schumacher was our Hero I bought her a 1:43 Ferrari M.
Schumacher Diecast, since she wanted one, constantly asking where's mine?
Yet sadly, due to her age and Dementia, she
wasn't even the remote bit interested in who Michael Schumacher was when we
placed the Ferrari in front of her, replying: What's a Carrari? And then simply
giggling her nervous laugh when I tried explaining who Michael Schumacher was.
this was followed up by my discussion with
Mary Ellen on New Year's Day when I asked her to look up the latest on Michael
Schumacher, to which 'Awntie Harriet sitting next to Mwah said: "MacGyver??
To which I quickly replied, Yeah, MacGyver fell down while he was skiing and
now they're trying to put him back together again...
Thus, I decided to rescue my Hero's racing
car replica to place upon the dining room table, where it'll replace 'lil
"Stevie Johnson's" (Stefan Johansson) McLaren Diecast car, as after
all I've definitely bought my fair share of Schumacher memorabilia and
obviously hope he'll recover fully from his
horrific skiing accident.
As I'll be raising a toast tonight in honour of
Michael whilst saying "Immer Ferrari," which is what I learned at the
Nurburgring during Schuey's heyday's...
