Marquez continues Crushing Opposition...



Arose at Oh DARK 30! (4AM Pacific) Sunday morning to watch; Err listen to MotoGP Phenom' Marc Marquez continue his overly dominant romp to the season's start with his fourth victory in-a-row from Pole position, giving the 21yr old Spaniard a clean sweep of 100-points overall - winning on home soil at the Circuito de Jerez for the first time upon his (overall) 100th Grand Prix start.

Marquez, who previously equaled Scooter' legend Giacomo Agostini's winning the first three events in-a-row in 1971 in Argentina; which I'd missed watching previously, listened to the choppy FS1 replay precluding the "Main Card's" Spanish GP where Marquez tied 'Aussie Mick Doohan's remarkable feat of four in-a-row season start accomplished in 1992! And looks set to exceed this tally next time out at Lemans, France in a Fortnight.

Marquez, aboard his Repsol Honda simply motored away from the field after a brief battle over the lead with "the Doctor," nee Valentino Rossi before cruising away from the field, as Rossi would finish runner-up after holding off another typical late race charge from Marquez's team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Fellow MovieStar Yamaha rider George Lorenzo, (Rossi's team-mate) celebrating not only his 200th Grand Prix start but his 27th birthday, was a distant fourth-place and probably not too happy overall, while 'DOVY, nee Andrea Dovizioso capped off the Top-5 aboard his Ducati after scrapping it out with several other riders...
