Listening to Speed Freaks interview with
Scotty Scooter' Pruett last Sunday night about this week's Sebring 12 Hours
race, got me thinking 'bout how pathetic "live" race coverage via television Stateside for this iconic
Sports Car race still is...
Yet a very quick search upon Zed Internetz
found the following info noted upon this year's Sebring 12hrs race, which Y'all can catch the first
three hours live upon Fox Sports 1 (FS1) Saturday morning before a further
27hrs of RASSCAR Roundy-round action; BARF!
While I can't say I'm overly impressed with
the lack 'O Celestial Television coverage being offered for this year's race
overall - which despite the previous story above, according to my NFB Newsline
for The Blind TV service, FS1 is only hosting the first two hours of the race,
i.e.; 7:30-9:30AM Pacific before returning to its Wall-duh-Wall Taxicabs
coverage...
Adding insult to injury, the vaunted Day
after highlighted recap is only 2hrs, if that's what I-T is? And worst yet,
airs from 5-7AM Pacific; Bloody Hell Mates!
Thus, I may try the web streaming thingy,
which hopefully goes a whole Helluva better than my Pirelli World Challenge
endeavour!! Chirp-Chirp, Bueller; Uhm? Where is I-T, I give UP!
Nonetheless, think this 3hrs; Err 2hr
"live" 'Mini-cast vignette; Uhm, snippet is somewhat better than what
I lambasted ALMS 'bout A-L-L those years ago, eh? Which tends to make me
believe I haven't watched any Sebring TV coverage in 5yrs now, since I know I
missed I-T whilst winging my way Down Under four years ago...
