Spotted this when scourin' Zed Internetz for
any pertinent MotoGP news before leaving for Austin. As I knew about
Bridgestone introducing tyre colour banding a la Formula 1, in order to enable
fans to discern what rubber compound
drivers were utilizing.
Now for 2015, Bridgestone, the current sole
supplier to MotoGP will add an
additional two colours to the expanded tyre range, i.e.; six different colours
vs. last year's four, not including the two wet weather tyre colours, so keep
an eye out for what colour rubber each rider's wearing this season...
