Forgotten GP2 Champion to make F1 Debut in Hungary

Apparently I missed thee "Memo" whilst "Oot 'N Aboot" on Holiday, along with thy lack 'O Telescreen recently. Hence I wasn't aware that 2013 GP2 Champion Fabio Leimer, who like other GP2 Alumni has been seeking his chance in Formula 1 was named Manor Marussia's reserve driver last month.

Now the 26yr old Swiss Ace will finally make his Formula 1 debut when he takes part in this weekend's Friday morning's Free Practice (FP1) session for the Donington based team, presumably filling in for Roberto Merhi? Just my best guess here, since think Manor Marussia F1's other driver Will Stevens has monetary backing - whilst Leimer also brings much needed Euros, Me Thinks.

As I'm ARSE-suming this is a warm-up audition for Fabio to replace Merhi beginning at Spa? Since after all the Spaniard is currently contesting the full Formula Renault 3.5 season and has been looking over his shoulder at every Grand Prix he's entered this season...
