First became aware of one of Formula 1's most
respected and authoritative journalists faltering health from whom I've taken
to calling Grizzled Journo' Joe Saward upon his F1 Blog.
Yet I awoke to the news via The Guardian
Saturday morning noting the loss of longtime F1 Journo' Extraordinaire Alan
Henry having taken the chequered flag at the age of 68.
Whilst Messer Saward notes how his career is
intertwined with Henry's, for whom seemingly countless persons are in the
business of motorsports near and abroad.
And I'm certain I've got a copy of his Alain
Prost autobiography sitting upon thy bookshelves, and pretty certain there's
also a copy of his March: The Grand Prix and Indy Cars volume holding station
there too, as the man fondly known by friends simply as "AH" was a
prolific writer with some 50 books to his credit; Aye Karumba!
