Not surprisingly, word comes via The Guardian
that Bahrain's given Great Britain a "Sweetheart deal" to build a new
Royal Navy base in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Interestingly, or is it ironically? That the
report comes just days prior to another Democratic Kingdom's inaugural Formula
1 race, Y'all know the European GP being held in Azerbaijan's capital Baku,
which is also known for its liberal Human Rights policies.
As the report notes how Britain, and presumably
a Chap residing at No. 10 Downing Street, a one Mr. David Cameron are
apparently just playing lip service towards improving Human Rights to the citizenry
of Bahrain, in exchange for paying only a paltry $9m over three years for a new
military edifice.
Meanwhile on a fairly different tangent,
albeit one regarding one man's ability to show kindness for others regardless
of their station in life, I found the following article regarding the recently
deceased legendous' Boxer, whom Lewis Hamilton referred to in his Cool-down
victory lap at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in tribute with the following:
"Float like a Butterfly, Sting like a Bee"
To be just one small example of how truly
great the late Muhammad Ali was. Which regardless of one's convictions, leads
me to Hope that Mankind can improve
overall regardless of our differences...
